Xenoblade Chronicles 3D on the 3DS is set in a world made up almost entirely of water. These two titans, named Bionis and Mechonis froze in their fighting and their death ended up giving life to two dual realms of life in this latest smash hit. 9 One Piece: Unlimited World Red - 3DS

One Piece: Unlimited World Red for the 3DS is an action game. Protagonist Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat crew must fight off enemies and compete in fierce boss battles. You can play up to nine different characters from the Straw Hat crew, including the aforementioned Luffy and other favorites such as Nami, Sanji, and Nico Robin. On top of all the character choices, there are even new characters made specifically for this release such as Pato and the big boss "Red." Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars offers 3D action as they put together an elite special ops team to take down a Russian ultranationalist. In the "Story" mode, players assume command of the Ghosts and head across the vast and varied Russian landscape, from the deserts of Kazakhstan to the Siberian tundra, in an attempt to track down and destroy the "Dead Hand" bases that madman Yuri Treskayev is using to build his army of drones. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the Nintendo 3DS combines most of the content from the Wii title Monster Hunter Tri and the Japan-only game "Monster Hunter Portable 3rd" to offer players more than 200 quests full of classic monster-stalking action. Gamers soon come into contact with an amnesiac girl and a trio of researchers, and together the group decides they must search the dense forest of the Yggdrasil Labyrinth to solve the mystery. As always, players use their stylus and touch screen to create their own maps as they trek through the wilderness. Gamers can form a five-man party from nine different character classes, take on side quests, and apply bonus effects and Grimoire Stones to prepare for battle.
16 James Noir's Hollywood Crimes - 3DS

James Noir's Hollywood Crimes presents a pulp-fiction mystery adventure, with stereoscopic graphics and a Tinsel-Town twist. Set in the early '60s, the layered narrative places players in a game within the game, in the role of a contestant on the "Puzzle Masters" television show. The stakes become deadly as the hero realizes there is an actual killer on the set, who is manipulating the game show's events from behind the scenes. Not only are people being killed, but the player's character is being framed for the murders. Moving through the adventure, interacting with other characters and solving more than 140 puzzles, the hero soon realizes that the entire audience is in grave danger, and that he himself will be blamed for the crime. His only hope is to solve the twisted brainteasers left by the real killer, in order clear his own name.
17 Tales Of The Abyss - 3DS

Tales of the Abyss rearranges the presentation, but retains the game's real-time battle system and over-world exploration style. Action plays out in the top screen, while battle controls, maps, and other data displays appear below. As in the original, the adventure follows a young hero in a fantasy world, who leaves a life of privilege for the uncertainty and hardships of an adventure to determine the fate of his people. Players follow the story of Luke Fon Fabre, a young man who is the sole heir of an aristocratic family. 18 The Amazing Spider-Man - 3DS

The Amazing Spider-Man is an action adventure game for single players, and was released to coincide with that of the film but taking the film plot a little further. New features for the 3DS include touch controls, the new "web rush" allowing Spiderman to use stealth to creep up on opponents, new and redesigned enemies and the ability to switch between 2D and 3D viewing modes.
19 Code of Princess - 3DS

In Code of Princess, gamers will take on the role of Princess Solange Blanchefleur de Lux. After a monster attack occurs within her nation, she and the rest of the royal family are exiled. Sensing foul play at work, Solange sets out to find the cause of the corruption. Along the way, you'll meet an assortment of colorful characters, ranging from martial artists to zombies. Code of Princess frequently relies on humor, with the game never taking itself too seriously at any given moment. The title will often break the 4th wall with the characters understanding that they are part of a video game. Gamers can choose between melee-based attacks for close combat and magic attacks for long-range combat. As you fight, you'll earn experience you can use to level up your character. Tecmo Koei's flagship fighting series makes its Nintendo platform debut with Dead or Alive Dimensions for 3DS. 22 Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan - 3DS

Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan for the 3DS adds new aeronautic adventures and a casual difficulty level to its classically styled RPG action. Called to the city of Tharsis as part of a quest to reach the giant tree Yggdrasil, players form a party and head into the wild to battle a variety of beasts in the top screen, and manually map out the game's labyrinthine dungeon grids in the bottom screen. Combat is turn-based, and a special gauge fills after each action in battle, eventually allowing the party to unleash powerful Burst Skills. Players use hot-air balloons to travel to the game's many dungeons, but the world map itself is also home to a variety of treasures and extremely powerful beasts.
23 WWE All Stars - 3DS

WWE All Stars is an arcade-style take on professional wrestling. Playable in glasses-free 3D, the 3DS game follows the high-flying, ground-pounding format of earlier versions of the title. With a selection of more than forty superstars from decades of WWE competition, fans battle through fantasy matches involving Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, John Cena, or their own custom star. Characters are more stylized than realistic, with exaggerated physiques and over-the-top moves. Wrestlers are categorized in four classes: brawler, acrobat, grappler, and "big man."
24 Heroes of Ruin - 3DS

In Heroes of Ruin on the 3DS, war has been raging for over one hundred years until strong powerful Lords emerged from the fighting to bring peace to the land. This peace is threatened when one of the Lords, Ataraxis, ruler of the city of Nexus, is taken ill by a deadly curse. A call is sent out, promising rewards beyond measure for anyone who finds a cure. 25 Project X Zone - 3DS

Project X Zone on the 3DS is a strategy RPG that combines some of the greatest collection of characters ever seen in a 3DS title. For the first time ever, characters from some of the most historic franchises in video game history decide to come together. Gamers take control of more than 50 Capcom, Sega, Bandai Namco, and Nintendo characters as they make their way across grid-based maps inspired by classic games. Now it’s up to the legendary hero Link to face hordes of enemies and find the missing Princess Zelda. Advance the story to unlock new playable characters, each with unique moves and weapon types. Collect Rupees and other useful items to upgrade weapons and craft badges, which you can use to bolster each warrior’s abilities.
27 Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - 3DS

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate brings the series’ exploration, combat and detective gameplay to the Nintendo 3DS for the first time. The Dark Knight can grapple, glide, crouch and clamber around Blackgate Prison, surprising enemies with gadgets such as explosive gel or his trusty Batarang. Seek out hidden objects by switching into Detective Mode, and collect equipment to open up new routes and areas to explore. 28 Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. - 3DS

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. The acronym stands for Strike Team Eliminating the Alien Menace, the group is led by Abraham Lincoln, and it includes Henry Fleming from The Red Badge of Courage, Queequeg from Moby Dick, and Tom Sawyer, among others. Agents wear boilers on their back and each wields a unique weapon and a special attack, and the action finds gamers teaming up with other agents and heading into third-person, turn-based battles. The action will see players guide their agents around each map, collecting medals and gear, and looking for cover to hide from the vicious, insect-like aliens.

30 Tekken 3D Prime Edition - 3DS

In Tekken 3D Prime, the game boasts a stereoscopic 3D display at 60 frames per second. The roster of more than 40 fighters includes all the characters that appeared in the series' most recent console offering, Tekken 6. Multiplayer bouts can be fought over a Wi-Fi connection. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II is a high quality 2D fighter brought to you by Arc System Works. In Metroid Prime: Federation Force, players join a four-player local or online squad in this co-operative sci-fi shooter set in the Metroid universe. Hop in a specialized battle Mech suit and battle alongside your teammates to take down enemy forces and complete objective- based missions. Players assume the role of a young Marine of the Galactic Federation working to defeat pirates, Metroids, and any forces threatening peace. 36 Bravely Default - 3DS

Bravely Default offers gamers a classically styled RPG with a few twists on traditional turn-based combat. Players take control of a quartet of heroes as they go on a quest to reunite powerful elemental crystals, exploring dungeons and engaging in battles along the way. Each character has a set of BP points for use during combat, and players can use the Default command to shield themselves and bank points for the next round, or the Brave command to do extra damage by moving twice in one turn. Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters for the 3DS follows the exploits of test pilot Hal Jordan, who becomes the first human inducted into the Green Lantern Corps after accepting a dying alien's power ring. An enemy known as Parallax is in control of a robotic army of Manhunters sent to eliminate the Green Lanterns. The player is presented with a novel premise: Tokyo is in full lockdown, the government's swift, coldblooded response to a surprise demon invasion. While you and your friends must solve the nature of the interdimensional rift through which the horrific creatures are entering your world, saving the world is not your highest priority; staying alive, on the other hand, is. Overclocked's story, initially hailed for its originality, is now fully-voiced, bringing the narrative to life like never before.
