Dirt 2 is a racing game that you will not be able to put down. There are over 30 cars to pick from and upgrades can be purchased for your rides for an endless amount of gameplay.
This game is a good game. The levels of skills involved in the game vary and are made of long career modes. The visual and audio presentation is excellent however the game does not have a split–screen multiplayer. In Dirt 2 you act like an upcoming race driver who is competing on the off - road circuit. You will encounter experts like Travis Pastrana and Ken Block. At the end of the Dirt Tour career mode you are assured of being a champion. Your opponents are not easy to deal with; they are equally great at handling the vehicles. In this game you have the advantage of flashbacking and replaying the bits you did not perform as expected.
Your career in this game begins with a Subaru Impreza; the car belonged to the late Colin McRae. This game has over 35 other cars and their ratings are from one to ten in acceleration both how they are handled and their speed. Your career starts with a promising game but as you proceed through the ranks, you advance them. You can also play around with the settings of the game and you are rest assured of some achievement. Once you get behind the wheel you will be able to distinguish between the seven variables and with only five settings, navigating around the game will be easy for you.
It doesn’t matter if you are driving a truck, rally car or a pram; the Dirt’s 2 controls are set to keep the wheels on the road as you navigate through the roads. You can comfortably go through all terrains like on the sharp corners, big jumps, over shallow waters and rough roads between tarmac roads. Whichever car you choose it will be able to go through the game. You also customize the setting as you like, for instance you the car can be damaged filled with mud or dust and even completely destroyed if you lose control of it.
You have six flashbacks to use throughout the game. If you want to use a flash back, you pause then an instant replay of about 15 seconds then you continue playing from any point you wish. You have to be careful while racing because even the slightest of mistakes can be very costly. When you exceed 100 miles per hour then beware as chances are that you will end up messing up the race. It is advisable to be cautious while driving at high speeds.
The Dirt tour career mode gives the rally racing driver the opportunity to navigate widely. The first person menu system lets you flawlessly navigate the multiplayer and the single player modes.
You can select the car you would like to race in online. Single-player is the most popular mode available online. Watching the action as you replay is more satisfying as well, you will be fascinated at how much enjoyable the game Dirt 2 is. You spend most of the time listening to the great audio with the sounds of the engine of your car, when you are not racing, there is a nice soundtrack playing. Your co-driver also gives guidance on the hazards you expect and anything else you should know. If you have interest in racing, then Dirt 2 is worth putting your bet on.
