Crysis 3 uses the latest techology available to the Xbox 360 and certainly packs a mean punch in doing so. As regards the use of stealth and all out combat, and with all new weaponry and varied side missions it is without doubt one of the best.
Crysis 3 is a first person shooter video game developed by Crytek, and released in February of 2013. It is the official sequel of Crysis 2, and was one of the most highly anticipated games of 2013. This game will use the newly developed CryEngine 3, featuring stunning graphics and great fluidity. You play as Prophet, and Crysis 3 takes place 24 years after Crysis 2, as he returns to New York.
Crysis 3 has an unusually short campaign mode, but it is a very awesome, fun filled campaign. You take the role of Prophet, as he returns to New York (20 years after Crysis 2) he discovers that the city has been encased in a giant nanodome. This was created by the Cell Corporation as an attempt to kill of the Ceph Alien Forces, but you discover later that they are back in full force. The game is a beauty, mending technology and nature into one setting. Everything in Crysis 3 truly looks amazing. The Xbox 360 graphics does take some hits compared to higher end gaming PC systems because of outdated hardware.
The game takes a more personal focus to the story than previous Crysis games. The main focus of the story's progression will focus around 3 main characters. The first, Prophet, is the main character you play. It will focus on former team member Psycho, as well as his girlfriend Claire, as you 3 attempt to take down the Cell Corporation once and for all.
Much like in the other games, Crysis 3 gives you the option of stealthy kills, or you can just go in and Rambo with your armor on. You can choose to the game almost exclusively from stealth, sneaking up and stalking your prey before killing them. Or you can choose to use stealth for only a few kills, and run in guns blazing with your armor on. Depending on how you do it, the game gives you tons of killing options. You can use special incendiary ammo for your bow. Or you can electrocute water to fry your enemies to death. You can choose to customize your weapons if you get bored, but be careful when you do, as the game does not pause when you are customizing. It just brings down a menu and the game keeps running.
The action in Crysis 3 is fun, but the Artificial Intelligence are not so... well intelligent. They are very easy to take out in any number, large or small. This takes away from some of the beauty of Crysis 3, but if you wish for a bigger challenge you can increase the difficulty setting for the AI. But this does not make them any smarter, just harder to kill.
Crysis 3 is definitely a great game to go pick up. It has amazing visuals and a great action packed story line that will keep you hooked. It also comes with some pretty cool multiplayer features that make the game worth buying.
