F1 2010 is based directly on the 61st season of the FIA Formula One Championship, featuring the drivers, teams, race cars, and courses of the real-life Grand Prix series. Created for dedicated fans of the motorsport, the game focuses on presenting a sophisticated simulation of the power and handling of an F1 car, under a variety of realistic conditions. Developers incorporated real-world racing data and feedback from teams and parts manufacturers. The game's physics account for the whole car, part by overpowered part, to create an authentically "twitchy" feel in steering and acceleration, demanding precision from virtual drivers.

F1 2010 has landed on the on the PS3 and Formula One racing has captivated audiences from all over the world so we have high hopes for this latest title. Young, old, rich, poor, female, male: all of these categories surely have a bunch of F1 fans that tune it to the races regardless of where they take place. And with the release of F1 2010 by Codemasters, everyone can now experience for themselves the thrill of F1 racing first hand. Any fan would enjoy this game as it contains time trials, single races, and a 7 year career mode. Oh man that is just the tip of the iceberg, mate.

Every car, team, and track of the current season are all well represented in F1 2010, and they are almost near to perfection. Even the environment is well done. The ground interacts with the skies sun as clouds cast shadows on the areas below them, as well as the grandstands and other overhead objects. And when it’s raining, there is a marked change in the visibility, and when it starts to get sunny, the rain dries up and leaves telltale marks on your helmet. These kind of attention to details show off the F1 2010’s visuals at their best. The audio is great too, the car radio keeps you company as you race your butt off but is sublet enough to keep your concentration on where it should be: the road.

I feel like I am a true blue F1 racer with the customizing options available. The difficulty mode for the game can be adjusted to suit my level as well as the cars and he decals to go with them. It is very interactive too! Once you damage your car, not only will you visually see the impact but your car’s performance will suffer too. It is very realistic, and I enjoyed every minute of play time. However, one might get intimidated by the whole scenario especially if you’re a first timer as there are no tutorials available.

F1 2010 has its shares of flaws too. A split screen multiplayer mode could have been a great addition for a great arcade feel to the game. also, you will not know that you are running low since there is no real gauge onscreen just an indicator that sets off when you are down to 3 laps or less. These things are but minor stuff compared to the amazing innovations spearheaded by this game. F1 2010 is clearly a deserving Formula 1 simulation game worthy of your attention.
