G-Force on the PSP is based on the Jerry Bruckheimer 2009 summer movie blockbuster, G-Force is an exciting action video game that puts players in control of Darwin, the guinea pig leader of the covert intelligence G-Force squad, and housefly surveillance sidekick, Mooch. Team up with the other G-Force agents using your awesome electro-whip and puzzle solving skills on a top secret mission to save the world from an army of weaponized household appliances. Play mini-games exclusive to G-Force on the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system to hack into and take control of evil robot enemies.
If you have seen the movie then there is no need to explain more on what this game is about. G-Force, guinea pig force, are a bunch of highly skilled and trained animals that work solely for the government. You will be playing the role of Darwin who will be set to run around on the Saberling Headquarters. Just like the movie, Leonard Saber, villain has invented a machine that can turn home and kitchen appliances into menacing machines.
This game is a third- person shooter kind of game where your character, Darwin, is supplied with a backpack that is filled with a number of weapons, high tech gadgets and tools at your own disposal. Some of the high tech equipments that your furry character have is the Plasma Gun which enables you to take down enemies at long range, a machine gun specially designed for the G-Force, the Cluster Rifle and the Nano Hacker which turns enemy machine into allies. However, you will be using the Electro-Whip and Saberlizer most of the time since it does not run out of ammo and is good for close range attacks.
Once you defeat an evil machine, you are rewarded with useful items that are useful for your quest. Some of the drops are health packs, ammunition, and the games currency- SaberSense Chips. These chips can be used to upgrade weapons for a more powerful damage. Also, there will be hidden items that serve as a bonus on the game that can only be found using the Saberlizer. The Saberlized lets you scan your environment for hidden objects and items as well as to determine the weak point of an enemy.
Adding to the weapons that you can use to defeat your enemies, you will also be able to hover and double jump over high obstacles. And besides the appliances that try to eat or fry you, you will also be encountering pests like mice as well as roaches. But of course, bashing them will be easier than bashing the enemies made from metal. This game allows both challenge and thrill to its players while having fun and laughter.
