Go Wild on an African Safari Rescue! Giraffes with short necks? Zebras with no stripes? Tiny hippos?
This game is specially designed for kids. While us grown-ups are busy playing with complicated games with violence and lots of brain draining, we should also consider what our younglings should be playing. Instead of letting them try the games that violent or complicated, let them play something more friendly like Go, Diego, Go! Safari Rescue.
This game makes use of the Wii Remote perfectly for children in particular. This game is taken from the game Diego, Dora the Explorer whose main goal is to rescue his animal friends and speaks Spanish. Just like Dora the Explorer, Safari Rescue extends the features of the cartoon as well as the voice of Jake T. Austin - the lead character of the classic series.
Go,Diego, Go! Safari Rescue is a very simple 2D action game which can be controlled by using only one button that is present on the Wii Remote. While the controller is held at horizontal position, you can control Diego's movements and press the 2 buttons if you want to make actions like investigating or jumping.
The main story of the game involves a mosquito that has accidentally landed on a magic wand and eventually turns it into a powerful magician. With the mosquito turned into a magician, she tries to change other creatures as well as she pleases like elephants that are turned into giant boulders. Your main quest as Diego will be to seek a magic drum to bring back the order to Africa (the setting of the game). This story is very funny to someone who is grown up however; this is the kind of adventure that kids are looking for.
As you go through the levels, you will notice that every bit of them is not related to each other. Also, you will need to make your way to different African environments, leap over giant boulders as well as search for Safari stamps inside the bushes. The graphics and audio are well done on this game thus making it very conducive for children.
