The setting of the battle field is relatively small. The encounter with enemies is timed and scheduled. The player can see the enemy but because of small settings there is a rare occasion that the player can run past with the enemy. But when the player and the enemy got close their will be no touching or to fight immediately, it will just be an indicator that the fight will begin.

The story of the game starts with the two main characters named Nine and Aisha. They have one soul which means they share the same energy and points but their battle commands are individualized. They both use points to attack the enemies. The player needs to guess the exact body parts to attack which are in sequence. If the player hits the exact body part there will appear bingo word. It is a little of a guessing play. Two bingos will achieve combos to gain increase in the bonus meter which can also be multiplied but only until 999 percent.

In fighting with the enemy the player will also guess on whose turn to fight. But he can get the sequence as the game progresses which are still difficult because there are several kinds for a specific enemy. Plugging each enemy will also helps. The battle system has some holes too because in order to kill an enemy, the player needs to seal it. Killing will result to wasting of CP but can also gain HP but if the player failed to kill the enemy it will be revived with stronger power.

There are some situations that can lead to game ending which can sometimes be irritating because some are cannot really be prevented such as the stun effects which can incapacitate both of the characters. There are several kinds of stun attacks in low enemy encounters and fights not in the master fights. Nine and Aisha are sharing spells and magic too and they can both cast or spell some magic in the battle. The spells can be found in chest boxes not earned through points.

The game is complex but not well supported by the designers. The entire game can be considered as a waste of time because of its dull plot and setting. Players will surely opt to a more advanced and better RPG games. Though the sound effects are effective as well as the voice dubbing and translation must be mentioned but still the NIS America’s effort and investment to the game does not deserve more appreciation. The Hit Maker might still make another game hit but not with the Last Rebellion.
