Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga on the Xbox 360 is the complete package for the Star Wars franchise. Based on the action adventure game of the 2005 release, and mixed with the 2006 pattern of sequels, The Complete Saga is a solid package made better through improved graphics, new levels, and the availability of online cooperative play.
The basic appeal of Lego Star Wars comes from the fact that all of the characters are in cute Lego forms. Dialogue is not vital, only mumblings can be heard from the tiny people as they figure out what is happening in the empire. It is filled with action and adventure as you make your way through the Naboo palace, the Kamino facility, Mos Eisley, and Death Star, among others. There are a dozen characters you can unlock and play, with each one having unique attributes.
You can only play as one character at a time though, but you can switch easily. All the characters and vehicles are made up of Legos, which creates a charming little playful world. This coincides with some objectives of the game which is building objects to progress.
The Complete Saga on the Xbox 360 is ideal for playing with others, most specifically over the Internet. This feature has been nicely integrated into the game and is by far the most important addition into it. Other upgrades and additions include new gameplay sequences, such as the pursuit of bounty hunter Zam Wessell through Coruscant from the beginning of Attack of the Clones, have been added. Other sequences have been changed, such as the gunship cavalry chapter near the end of Attack of the Clones, which has less shooting action and more puzzle elements.
All of the visuals of the game have been enhanced for the Xbox 360 version of the game. It has sharper features, good old plastic shine on the surfaces of the characters, and tons of effects. The online cooperative play aided in boosting the game’s morale a lot since it has changed the way the dynamics is played and added depth to the game’s pacing.
