Well here is the much anticipated sequel to Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, this game truthfully has got a difficult job, not only has it got to be as good if not better than the previous installment of the game, it has to be true to the manga series but still accessible to people who have neither played the first game or seen the manga.

Now for this game to be successful in my books it has to be as good in terms of gameplay, graphics, how true it is to the story and the general fight mechanics.

First lets look at the gameplay the controls have thankfully not been fiddled with and have only been improved, the only major negative I have with the game is that in the free roam mode it has moved from true 3D to 2.5 dimension, which has given the free roam more of a old school final fantasy feel. This is a purely personal opinion as I know they changed this for the fact many people did not like the full 3D free roam but I feel that the village has shrunk because of this, but on the plus side we can now roam around the world of Naruto.

Now for the graphics these are amazing I think it would be hard for them to look more like they were taken from the anime series, the attack techniques are crisp and vivid and the characters are really well defined and the areas have been beautifully recreated in the game.

The story in Naruto Shippuden has ensured a strong following no matter if they prefer the manga to the anime or vice versa and one thing that they will defiantly be happy to know is that the game keeps to the story even more so than the previous title.

One reason that the game has been able to keep so close to the manga is the new and improved fight controls the basic controls have stayed the same but in some areas they have been improved, people of the first installment will remember during the ultimate technique you had to hit specific buttons, well in this you can reenact certain memorable scenes from the manga.

To sum up the designers have made a brilliant sequel with amazing graphics, multiplayer, fun gameplay, fantastic controls and music similar to the first title which many people should be able to enjoy even if they have never even heard of Naruto!

(Just a little note if anyone wishes to know why I have said nothing of the multiplayer this is because I rarely play online)
