This MMOROG is now on PSP and can be played by four players. The setting of this version takes place three years right after the episode of Universe and is concerned mainly on the exploits of an organization of freelance mercenaries called “Little Wing”. You will be featuring a character that is a poor grunt who boards the Clad 6 space colony and like the previous versions, you will still witness the four races of Phantasy Star – Humans who posses floppy hairs, the cast of Robotic beings, the fierce Beasts and of course the Newmans – the elves in space. The Newmans for this version of the game can now be upgraded a more advance race like a Gunmaster but still includes the good old slashing, casting a trio of Ranger, Force and Hunter, Shooting and lastly, the enhanced multipurpose Brave class.

The new version provides a system that allows you to personalize you character. First, you can change your character to a class that you desire in just a simple way. Next, you can now let your character use any weapon that you want – no restrictions of any sort. In addition, you can also unlock hidden weapons through the use of Extend Points that are obtained from missions or quests.

The new system also allows you to attack with a melee weapon and at the same time perform a normal attack and still do a Photon Art special attack. You can easily control the Photon Art special move with a Photon Power gauge which independently charges as you go through the game. In addition, you can also block attacks using your however it requires a great amount of proper timing and precision.

The story missions on this game are pretty much hyped than its predecessors so you definitely won’t be bored with this version. Also, you can now play online through the PlayStation Network on this game giving you the luxury to play with your friends and almost anyone online.
