Super Gamer Dude

Puzzler World 2013 3DS comes with eye popping graphics that make the on-screen images appear to be three dimensional. This game is actually a combination of many puzzle games including Wordsearch, Fitword, spot the difference and Sudoku. Players create their own user profiles which will be used by the game to store information about the progress of their game play. Basic game play is designed as a challenge mode, with a timer keeping track of how long it takes to solve each puzzle. The better the times, the more the player advances toward unlocking games in the master mode.

As a player becomes adept as solving the various puzzles, they puzzles in the group become progressively more difficult. For example, the early word search puzzles will not contain as many scrambled letters as those which are found in later grids. The main game menu is designed as a screen with colored buttons. Each color is associated with a particular game so players can easily scroll through the menu screen to select only the colored buttons associated with games they like to play. When a game has been successfully solved a star appears on the colored button to indicate the player has completed it.

When players correctly solve the main puzzle they have the option of accumulating more points by playing a bonus puzzle. A few of the he bonus puzzles include Missing piece, a jigsaw game, hangman and chain letters. Unlike the challenge mode puzzles, which are not timed, the bonus puzzles are timed. In order to obtain the points for a bonus puzzle, players must complete it before the timer runs out. If the bonus puzzle is not played or is not completed successfully, it will be indicated in the color of star which appears on the game's menu button. Players have the opportunity to select this game again to try and complete the bonus puzzle.

This game offers players over 25 different game categories to choose from. This version of Puzzler World has added games which are not found in the previous versions which have been released. Some of the new games include Maze-A-Pix, a maze puzzle game which when solved reveals a hidden image, and Loko. Players are not required to play games in every category in order to progress to new levels. Each game category is tracked separately so a player can attain master mode in Wordsearch without ever playing any of the Soduko games.

When players correctly complete bonus round puzzles they receive coins which they can use to buy hints. A hint can help players if they become stuck during a game. The hints are available at different levels which have different coin values. The drawback to the hint system is that sometimes the purchased hint can be revealed as something the player has already solved within the puzzle. The master mode can be accessed through the main menu and will show only the games available for which the player has achieved this level.
