When you buy a newspaper always remember to check the bottom right for the codes as that is were they are most likely to be. Enter the following case sensitive codes (without the quotes) to activate the corresponding cheat option. If you enable cheat codes you will not be able to save the game or get trophies.

Search for a cliff and a waterfall in the far northern regions of New Austin located just above the MacFarlane Ranch. Enter this area and the message 'Tall Trees' will appear on your screen. If you get arrested here you will be taken to Blackwater. From here you can access the full northern map. You'll need to auto save and die to return to the southern areas. If you buy the property in Manzanita, it will prevent you from doing this but it is possible to jump the unfinished bridge in Thieves' Landing to get back.

A nun will approach you when you have gained maximum honor and fame. She will tell you that she and the other sisters have been gathering items to help your righteous cause and she will give you a cross that makes enemies less likely to hit you with bullets. You must remain honorable for this to remain in effect.
