WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010 is a professional wrestling video game following suit to the big name that we get to watch on pay – per – view. THQ has taken professional wrestling into new heights as the game now gives players the option to create and follow their own storyline and more importantly, be in a match that they have can only watch at home. The phrase “Pls. don’t try this at home” can now be totally disregarded.

In Story Designer mode, a player can create their own episodes and upload them online for other players to download and enjoy. This serves a big potential for endless fun as you are put in charge of your pro’s career in a level never before experienced by diehard WWE fans.

Of course, no game will be truly yours unless you can modify your pro’s physical attributes. The wardrobe can be changed, as well as the color of their signature looks. Logos and tattoos can be further tailored to suit your own taste, but that’s not all! Entire move sets, finishers, and entrance movies can be customized as well.

For those hooked and had been following the franchise for some years now, they can easily spot the training facility at the beginning of the game. It is in here that you can familiarize yourself with the controls and how they perform in a bit different way when you are in certain positions in the ring. Each pro has more moves this year, and they are easier to move around your enemy in the ring.

Character movements are more fluid this year, and they all respond better n terms of quickness. However, there are still noticeable lags which quite spoil the fun but overall everything is quite realistic and forgivable.

Everyone I know truly enjoys the Royal Rumble mode as much as they enjoy the chaos in their TV screens, and with an improved game play, fans will rejoice as there are new ways of Royal Rumble – specific finishers and numerous ways to defeat an opponent. THQ could try improving the game angle next time though, as there are certain angles that the camera cannot follow, further obstruction is also quite possible.

If you are wrestling fan you would have to be out of your mind to not snatch this game. It is one of the best one you can get on the PS3.

It could easily be said that Spiderman can do a lot of things in the quirkiest of ways. He spins a web to catch the bad guys while his mouth drags him to trouble, and out off the girl’s way. All of this and more, you can do as you play 4 different versions of Spiderman in Spider-man Shattered Dimensions. You get to play as Spiderman Amazing, Ultimate, 2099, and Noir. The Spidermen shares the same agility and wit of the original character, and yet has their own unique skills and abilities to make each level a gratifying experience. The excellent art design has gone a long way in smoothening out the few wrinkles this game has, and in the end, Shattered Dimensions has proven to be a worthy adventure in my opinion.

Our web super hero has to travel in 4 different dimensions to hunt down facets of a magical and powerful artifact that has broken down reality. Guided by the mysterious Madame Web, our Spiderman heads on a quest to retrieve and put together the pieces o the artifact. The little dialogue has a tendency to become repetitive, especially during boss battles. Nevertheless, Spidey’s wit has remained intact and provides humorous moments in the game, more so on the expense of Madame Web.

As you play in the story mode, you will discover that each level or dimension contains 4 different sublevels which offer choices on how to play. Each dimension differs in mechanics and gameplay with amazing centered on hard hitting combat using Spidey’s web powers and classic fist fighting, Ultimate brings on the sarcasm while using tentacle attacks to spice up the combat. 2099 brings you to a futuristic metropolis full of tall buildings for of free-fall sequences and Noir will have you lurking in the shadows to bring down the bad guys using stealth. Amongst all of these, Noir is the weakest for me. I am simply not excited with the prospect of playing Spiderman in a Batman world.

Overall, this game is a steal. The diverse gameplay will keep you entertained as it did for me for a good 10 hours if you played it straight like me. Anyone who wants to experience being a squeaky clean superhero for a day must definitely have this game.

Little Big Planet PS3 can be described as a platforming game but you will find that its dedication to creativity is quite deep. Everything, from the environment to your character are geared towards adaptation and creation which is done with the help of costumes and stickers. Each level of the story mode is made with the wild imaginations of the designers. Unfortunately; the great story mode will be over so soon, though the game is long, you will find the hidden extras and the game will probably be over in about six hours straight.

This game has excellent narration and musical score and is the best description for the visuals and sound. The huge customization and the creativity potential will attract you to the game. The game has a high replay ability factor as well. However the game has its limits: You will find that the camera struggles in the multiplayer; the short story mode too is a demerit on the game. You will find that a lot of time is spent on building a compelling level.

There is the level creator which has strong tool set that theoretically allows you to recreate anything you see in the other levels. This however requires a lot of skill to develop and even when it is developed many gamers will not know how to use it, if you are patient you will be able to use it eventually. This is a feature that many gamers will not be able to take advantage of or even use. The developer may have had good intentions but this simply doesn’t get down well with many gamers.

In Little Big Planet there is all the imagination and this is where all the untapped fantasies are found. The game has eight themed worlds, which vary in style from place to place like the Mexican desert to the African Savannah and the Ninja. Each of these worlds has three or four individual levels, of which each can be completed in less than 10 minutes. If you can find the hidden key in each level you will get some bonus on it. These bonus levels offer a lot of fun and great experiences, with respect to Skipping contest, Line Rider and drag racing competitions.

You will meet Sackboy who is a cute doll and you are supposed to use your creativity as you clothe him. You should keep trying new looks, you can add up costumes on him, like glasses and hats. The game has only two action buttons the X button for jumping and the R1 to grab the swings and to move objects. You will only move to the next level after completing the previous one. You may however wish to go back to the finished level to pick the hidden items, keys and point bubbles. You can also collect plunder drops by putting labels in certain places, and there are puzzles that you can only solve by playing in the two- to four-player mode. These include gates that are only opened slightly and objects that require multiple characters to pull them.

In Multiplayer Little Big Planet has a lot of fun but unfortunately in this mode it is faulty: the camera is struggles to frame the action and putting many precision to action, some of the actions are completely invisible. Going online with a Multiplayer is perfect and you can be able to see online friends and so fourth.
