If you have played the first game you will find this game has been drastically improved. It is a 3rd person shooter packed with tons and tons of explosions. This game is one of the funniest open world games I have played in a long time. You will be controlling a Rico Rodriguez who is an agent (for an agency in American called "The Agency"). So in this game you will find yourself in Panau, a city in southeast Asia. You are looking for a friend Tom Sheldon who has went missing suddenly. No one is sure if he is dead or alive.

So the ultimate goal is to overthrow the current dictator. You are going to achieve that by doing "work" for three factions on this island. This is going to cause a great deal of chaos and earn you money along the way. Don't worry that the game is not the main focal point, so don't take it to seriously. For instance, you are attacked by ninjas equipped with Uzis, huh, what’s that all about?

The key element that sets this game apart from the others is the grappling hook. It is awesome and I find a million ways to use it. For instance, let’s say there is a sniper on the roof. Why not shoot your grappling hook at his feet and yank him off the edge. He will then go crashing down to his death. It saves ammo too. Another great thing I did was attach a car to a helicopter and fly around the town. Trust me there are endless things you can do with this grappling hook.

Another great feature that sets this game apart from any other third person shooter is the parachute. You can jump off a cliff at anytime for an easy escape. That and my favorite is blasting people on the way down. There are tons and tons of weapons you can use in this game, even a rocket launcher. As if all the options in the game aren't enough there are even more than one hundred vehicles to choose from.

This game just offers a ton of freedom. You can play anyway you want too. I really do believe this is one of the best free-roming games I have played in a long time. It is not perfect in the aspect that the storyline really isn't anything to pay serious attention too. The lasting appeal from this game is just great though. It has tons and tons of "Hollywood" style cut scenes and the gameplay graphics are epic throughout, all in all I was pleased with the game.

I was really excited when I got this game. Sadly, my excitement quickly died and felt that I wasted a lot of my time. So this game is spy thriller with big crime bosses, a global conspiracy and corporate greed. Sounds pretty cool, which is why I bought it. You are Michael Thorton and you play an agent who is supposed to change the events of a global event. It is even set in real world cities like Rome, Taipei, and even Moscow.

You are going to be using rifles, shotguns, SMG's, bullet proof vest, etc. Not your typical RPG in retrospect. However, there is a conversational system where you can make important choices. The choices in turn can decide if other characters live or die. Along with that there are a bunch of characters that you can decide if you want to settle beefs with them the hard way or the nice way. The level of customization isn't bad by any means at all, but the characters are pure crap.

I mean don't get me wrong a good RPG will have a good storyline and plot like this one does. However, the characters don't really seem to come to life at all. In fact, it is pretty stereotypical and I found myself not caring one bit about the characters. Some of the characters cuss, scream and seem to have no real emotions at all. They are just there for the sake of being there, AHHHH HAAAA.

The main character Thorton can be entertaining if you choose some questionable reactions. But, for the most part when this game tries to be all serious and stuff it is a snore. When they try to make something humorous it is like watching a really really bad stand up comic.

You almost feel bad for them and laugh. You know what I mean? So once you get out of your safe house and are ready to get into the combat you will just wish you quit in the safe house. What do I mean? The AI is not the smartest AI you will ever come across. You will fire away at your enemies only to be left ducking and covering to regain your health. I found that enemies would go right past me as I ducked and covered making the game feel simply weird. I ducked and you can't find me now. I am pretty sure my 3 year old would be able to find me if I ducked.

The enemies just seem to be no fun at all. No challenge you can easily get through the game, provided you have the patients to actually see it through until the end. I didn't because it just simply falls apart as you get into the combat mode. I would avoid this game unless you just happen to like putting your money down the toilet.

Wow, I picked up this game honestly not knowing what to expect. A buddy of mine told me it had a lot of methodical elements as well as a strange relationship to Zelda types of games? Have I got you interested because I am going to tell you exactly what this game is all about in this review.

You will play as a Horseman of the Apocalypse. Your character War, is hated by others because they falsely believe that you screwed up the balance between Hell and Heaven. Also, you blew up humanity in the process. Kind of a lot of weight to carry on your shoulder if you ask meĀ…lol.

OK, so he is a stereotypical good guy that has just gotten framed for something he didn't do. It is very easy to see where he is coming from and I don't feel bad at all for spilling a lot of blood from enemies. Believe me you will be smashing heads, ripping out hearts, and peeling body parts off of your sword. HELL YEAH!

So one way in which it is like God of War is before you finish a character you will have to hit a button to finish them. You are not going to hit a series of buttons (only for bosses) and larger characters. I found this to be generally rewarding and QTE sequences in other games seem to be a little over the top. I like the simplicity of it a lot.

I did find this game to be rather easy though. If you set it to veteran you will have a much more challenging gaming experience. It's more of a watered down version of God of War and Devil May Cry. I don't mean that to make it sound bad though, because it is a lot of fun. You do only have one weapon and can later unlock two other weapons if you get tired of chopping demons heads off or pealing their intestines off your sword.

So the combat controls are like Zelda. You can grab parts of the environment at a distance. For instance, you will come in contact with a lot of different dungeons and they will have equipment hidden all through them. You will be able to find keys that unlock secret areas. Find maps that will guide you along the way. Even blow through walls to find hidden areas that have a lot of valuable loot.

This is a pretty fun and exciting action based game. The bosses are really neat looking. I would rate this game 8 out of 10.

Well let me start by saying you are going to get 5 whole games in this set. The games that are included are original Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal and Team Fortress 2. If you are new to Half Life it is a first person shooter. ne thing that is really unique about Half-Life is you view the entire game through Gordon's eyes but he doesn't ever have one scripted word.

Ok, so the plot for Half Life 2 is this; you play as Gordon Freeman a couple years after the events of the Black Mesa. This events unfolded in the first game, if you never played this before you should get the general idea. But, the earth has been overrun my Combines, which are alien forces.

There are ton of guns you can enjoy including the pistol and shotgun, but they are enhanced with some tools; the most popular is the gravity gun. This is used for free environmental manipulation. So Half Life is known for its interactive gameplay. For instance, you can shoot gas tanks to blow a handful of enemies up without using many bullets. Or if you see a saw blade lying on the floor then why not take it and throw it at someone.

While the enemies have really remained unchanged for as long as I can remember you will meet Alyx Vance is which fights alongside of you in Half Life 2. Guess what this is computer control companion that really holds her own. She will mow enemies down with bullets and even cover you and snipe enemies.

Another great game that is thrown into the mix is Portal. It is more of a puzzle solving game. You will use a portal gun to shoot at two different spots on the wall or floor (for example) and then walk through them. It will always go somewhere and up to you to decide how you want to navigate through the game. Believe me you will use your imagination and the replay is incredible.

Team Fortress 2 is fun and a exciting way to play with a friend. You can pick from a bunch of different classes. Each has their own special abilities. There are 6 different maps, and each one has its objectives for you to accomplish. Don't get me wrong it is not Halo 3, but it is really fun.

A couple things to note is the driving in these games are horrible. I blame it on the control setup which in my opinion could have been fixed rather easily. Aside from that bad driving controls there are couple glitches in the gameplay which don't always perform as they did on the 360. Also, it is a lot slower paced than Halo 3, so don't think you are going to have tons of fast gameplay.

Still an awesome game even with a couple bugs and everything. You are essentially getting 5 games for the price of one. The story is good and you will get a lot of gameplay out of this game, though.
