It is a shooter game that offers plenty of action. The game has great sounds and a variety of scenes in between. The game is well controlled scheme with a lot of guns and some cool gadgets .You will also like the fact that the game has eight-player online multiplayer.

Syphon Filter; Dark Mirror is much better than the previous versions. Here you will take up the role of Gabe Logan the Superspy; you will be investigating the mysterious attacks on some chemical plants by an organization of terrorists. In the Tunda of Alaska a rather chilly place is where the adventure starts. As the mystery unfolds, you will discover that you would have to pay something to the techno thriller. There are secret-weapons that are developed from the genetic-engineering experiments, there is double-crossing as well as a visit with an old flame of Gabe’s.You may not like the story but the setting of the game makes it a thriller for the PSP.

There is a constant stream of speech throughout all the seven campaigns of the game as Gabe and his partner Lian Xing and their handler; Teresa coordinate the operations. There are a large number of in-engine cut-scenes, with lip-synched characters and this helps you point the plot towards your next goal. The story is well presented in the game and no matter how dull it is in writing, the game will amuse you. The production of Dark mirror is quite standard and you may not see one like it especially in PS2 or Xbox.

Gabe being a super spy has got a lot of a large variety of weapons, moves and gadgets that he should use in his actions. You are expected to use all the tricks he has to get through all the campaigns. Since the game is composed of action and craftiness; you have to know how to get through the radar and be able to jump over the enemies. The game is composed of a collection of vision modes, thermal imaging that is useful for finding your enemies lowlight vision and it has another rather special EDSU mode that can be used to help you find other interactive objects as well as detecting dangers like laser mines within your surroundings.

The ability of Gabe to stick his back up against the wall and peek tactfully around corners enhances his shooting. Syphon Filter gives you the ability to aim around the corner while undercover, it enables you to pop out, shoot and get back under cover. You can aim using any of the four buttons and you use the analog stick to move. You will find swinging around a corner and shooting at an enemies head such a thrill. The controls are not as perfect as you would expect them to be, you will feel flustered especially when the artificial intelligence chase you and you try to fight back. You will at times also encounter difficulty trying to get Gabe stick on a wall.

You will like the control scheme; indeed it is possibly the best you have experienced on a shooter for PSP.
